Carter's Baptism

A lot of our family came to be with us for Carter's Baptism on Saturday. Carter was so excited to have everybody come and to be able to play with all his cousins. Most of my family came on Friday and spent the weekend with us. It's always crazy when you have a lot of people together, but we really enjoyed having everybody there. On Saturday, most of Corey's family came (sorry to those who couldn't come, we had fun without you) and we had lunch together. All the kids were able to swim and jump on the trampoline. It was really hot and everybody was worn out. In fact, during the program before the baptism, many of the kids were falling asleep, including Carter. But it really was a nice day and weekend. Carter was a little nervous about the whole thing, but was so excited afterwards. He looked so handsome in his new suit and was really excited to have his own scriptures with his name on them. My kids were sad to have the weekend come to an end and didn't want everybody to leave. Hopefully they will be able to hold on until the next time we get together.
