The Votes have been Tallied

Congratulations Kayden!!
Kayden burst through the front door yesterday and informed me that he had won the election by 35 votes. He is so excited to be the treasurer. He gave his speech, at school, on Tuesday. I wasn't able to go, but Corey went and said he delivered in full Kayden style. He wrote it all by himself, memorized it, and worked the stage like he owned it. Corey couldn't believe how well he did and couldn't believe how well written his speech was.

We were really nervous though. We really thought he would be so devastated if he lost, but thank goodness we didn't have worry about it. We are just so excited for him. He will do great with 54 cents he is charge of. (Yes, he said that is all he has to worry about for now).

The best part of the day

This little girl can be so tired, onery, hungry, or all of the above, but the minute she gets into her bath she could care less. She loves it. She will grin the whole time she is in. She is actually starting to get a little wild and makes a huge mess all over. She throughly enjoys it until I pull her out. She still cries the whole time I am getting her dressed, hopefully she will outgrow that part pretty soon.

Afternoon Therapy

Nothing ends the afternoon complaints of boredom faster than a little Playdough therapy. Something about that squishy stuff that somehow makes everything better.

While the kids are left entertained, I get to love on this little one-my own therapy.

Land slide or too close to count

Meet your new candidate for Treasurer...

Math is my pleasure

Vote Kayden for Treasurer

(he came up with that slogan on his own, impressed?)

He is so excited about this, I really hope he wins- I don't even care if it's by a landslide.

For the love of accessories

Obsession? Maybe, maybe not

After having 3 boys, I was excited for all the fun stuff that comes with having a girl. So when Hailey came along, I had some hair stuff for her. I kept it all in the top bathroom drawer. Then when I found out we were having another little girl and I started seeing how easy it was to make some of the cute hair things. So I started to make a few things. Pretty soon the drawer was to full, so I hung a ribbon behind the door. Soon that was full, and now I am on my 5th ribbon. Now, I haven't made them all, but pretty close. I just can't help myself. When I buy them something I can't stop thinking about what kind of hair thing I could make to go with it. It might be an obsession, Corey thinks it is-he could be right , but I still am going to consider it just a hobby.

(They just make such good models- only fuels the obsession/hobby though)

Everything's better in 3D

A day off from school- why not go to the movies?

Seeing the movies in 3D was pretty cool. Carter and Brendan insisted on keeping their glasses, they were convinced that wearing them would make everything become 3D. Now they are just excited and waiting for Toy Story 3 to hit the big screen.

Uplifting?!

Just waking up on Sunday morning at 10:45- do you think she got much out of the morning conference session? Although we probably heard a lot more of it with her snug in her bed. Gotta love a relaxing Sunday morning.
