I love the excitement of Christmas morning and how the kids can hardly wait to get down the stairs and see if Santa found them the night before. Amazingly, our kids let us sleep until 7:30, I thought they would be up long before then.
The boys got electronics this year, I guess it have to accept the fact that it's the way it's going to be, but I kinda missed the toys. Except the electronics sure take up less space and are a lot easier to put away. They are loving them and couldn't be happier though.
There are always a few extras in the loot. Brendan really wanted some angry bird plushies and was excited to get some of those. He and Carter also got their long begged for football jerseys from my parents. I had to peel them off of them today to wash them There were also a couple of lego sets mixed in. It simply doesn't feel like Christmas without some legos.
Hailey couldn't have been more excited about her dollhouse and has played with it nonstop. Emery loves it too, she couldn't have cared less about her own stuff and went straight for it. She has since taken interest in her new baby and other things she recieved, She was a pro at opening presents too, we had to keep her from opening everyone elses.
We were able to enjoy a relaxing morning. (It was probably the one and only Sunday that I have been thankful for our late church time.) Then we were able to come back home, put our PJ's back on, listen to Christmas music and have a great dinner together.
