Favorites on Friday ( or really just a catch up on the week)

Wow, another week has gone by. They just keep flying by, yet we are not doing anything exciting. Just not much to document and I have been horrible  about taking pictures of the little that has gone on. 

Here is a little that went on around here this week. 

For the last two weekends the older boys were gone on scout campouts. It made for pretty quiet Saturday mornings around here. I caught a cute moment with the little kids together before breakfast.

 Emery's favorite day around here is garbage day. She loves to watch the garbage truck. When he comes to our house, we usually go outside and watch, the garbage man will wave and honk the horn for her. It totally makes her day. Then she will go upstairs so she can see him go around the rest of the neighborhood.

 Brendan and Hailey have had Spirit week at school, which meant they got to take a break from their uniforms and dress up. Brendan was not as into it as Hailey and didn't want pictures taken. Hailey was one cute cowgirl. On decades day, we did our best to pull of and 80's look. Today is pajama day,  the one they like the best anyway. Even Brendan is exciting for that one, we'll see if he is excited enough to document it.

 I love it when Emery uses her powers of persuasion to get the older kids to play with her. 

The nap time battle continues on here. She is just at the awkward stage where she still needs one a few times a week, but if she naps too much she doesn't go to bed. Somedays I try to force it by laying down with her. That usually results in just me dozing off, but we try. Other days she just can't make it and passes out somewhere.
