Hailey's latest obsession
We have been through this before. Carter absolutely loved this movie. He wore the costumes from Halloween on a daily basis. He actually literally wore them out. He slept with the movie case and his Woody doll for months. If he wasn't in costume, he had on his cowboy boots and hat.
Obvioulsy he has moved on to new obsessions and the movie had not been watched in a really long time. Awhile back we sat down to watch a movie together and they decided to watch something they had not watched in a long time. Toy Story 2 was their choice. Well,now Hailey is hooked. She is obsessed. She asks to watch it everyday and insists she is a cowgirl (or sometimes a springy dog). All the toys have been dug out of the buckets and she walks around singing "You've got a friend in me." Too bad Woody was donated to goowill a few months ago and Buzz was broken and thrown out ( kind of ironic huh?). They provided a lot of entertainment.
Although, I have to admit that this is an obsession that I am okay with. I actually really enjoy the movie. And maybe with the new one coming soon we will be able to replace some of our cherished toys. So we will enjoy this for a little while until a new obsession is discovered.

Hehe! My kids have gone through this obsession too! There are definitely worse things they could obsess over... like Barney, for example.
Hey Lindsey....For your FYI the buzz and Woody dolls can be bought up here at the new Simths Market place in Lehi, an d just yesturday when I was there I noticed they were on sale!!! SO if you want......let me know!
Do you want Carter's cowboy boots back? It would help to make a great Jessie costume. Or do you not want to fight the whole "you're-not-wearing-that-costume-to-church" battle?
Does this mean Kung Fu Panda is over with?!?! At least the girl picks good movies to watch over and over! My kids have been in phases where it's a movie I can't stand!!
And I didn't know they were coming out with a new Toy Story! That is good to know!!
I think it must be ALL kids. Honestly, I can't wait unil Dax hits that phase so I can stop watching Hannah Montana and get to watch Toy Story!!
